Why heat protectants are a must!

Let’s talk about something that so many of my clients ask me about: frizzy, dry hair. One of the first things I ask is, “What are you using before your hot tools?” And y’all, I’m always surprised by how many people are skipping the most important step—heat protection! It’s like heading straight into a 350-degree oven without an oven mitt. You wouldn’t do that, right? So why would you expose your hair to that kind of heat without protecting it first?

I always call heat protectant your “oven mitt” for your hair. It shields those precious strands from the heat, preventing dryness, frizz, and long-term damage. Trust me, this one step makes all the difference.

My go-to heat protectants? Two RNCO heroes:
